You have two tasks in this week’s memo.

1) In “The Jewish Question,” Marx wrote in the last sentence, “The social emancipation of the Jews is the emancipation of society from Judaism.” What did he mean by this?

2) Based on your understanding of the chapter on “Alienated Labor” (or “Estranged Labour” depending on the copy that you read) and the video clip, what are the possible consequences of alienation/alienated labor?
