After reading Trounstines Segregation by Design, we can conclude that local politics remain heavily segregated by race, class, and the combination of the two. In this essay provide evidence for how segregation survived past laws explicitly calling for racial division and continues today. What are the consequences of segregation over time, and how are these consequences reinforced? How do externalities (both positive and negative) affect people over time?
