Using the readings attached, define and explain in detail the concept of the RESOURCE CURSE and the effects of COLONIAL IMPACT on the economy of certain countries. The powerpoint explains the major themes of greed and grievance, use those concepts to shape your argument. Then, explain briefly the case of the west bank and how such themes (resource curse, colonialism) have negatively affected their economy. In comparison/contrast to the Palestinian case, briefly explain the case of Aceh who also were affected by these two themes. Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the arguments presented.. are these cases similar? what are the major differences? conclude with your critical observations.
