The goal of this assignment is to observe the religious practices and environment of the Old Testament Patriarchs.

Scan through the book of Genesis noting where any of the Patriarchs or their wives encountered the Lord in worship to him or revelation from him. Create a list or chart of 4 columns as a Word doc, showing:

the biblical reference in Genesis
the person involved
the object (e.g., altar) and/or action (e.g.. sacrifice) involved
the name of God, if mentioned

Note:

Patriarchs will be limited to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob with their wives.
Religious practices include objects like the use of altars and pillars or actions like prayer and sacrifice and related encounters with the God of the Hebrews.
