Your second draft of your essay must:

be submitted by 9:35am on 10/1
be between 500-900 words
be written in complete sentences and broken up into multiple, coherent paragraphs
contain a revised, underlined thesis statement that clearly identifies the main argument of the essay. Your thesis should be revised and strengthened since draft 1.
contain appeals to ethos, pathos and logos.
cite evidence from at least two credible outside sources (from academic or internet research)
cite, using hyperlinks, all outside sources that are consulted. See file on Canvas titled Citing Sources in the Op-ed Essay for instructions.
contain an attention-grabbing title that accurately prepares the reader for the content of the essay
begin with an opening sentence (or sentences) that pique the readers interest
cite evidence from your own field research (personal experience, going to the scene, interview, observations, etc.)
