Using Marc Mauers philosophy on Mass Imprisonment explain the ongoing racial division, as well as other conflicts mentioned, historical and present. Provide examples using all readings from class, and how these conflicts influence prison conditions.
Explain how historical gender stereotypes (2 – 3)play a major role in the way inmates and correction officers are treated.
