Following the requirements below, write an essay relating any concept weve covered in class this semester to an article about policing from a main stream media outlet (e.g., Cincinnati Enquirer, New York Times, CNN, etc.). In other words, your essay must clearly describe how a concept we have discussed in class is illustrated by the media article you chose. For example, you might write an essay on police corruption based on a recent news story describing an incident of police corruption. The highest scoring papers will have a detailed discussion that includes references to specific topics and pages of the textbook. You must include a copy of the media article you base your essay on.
