Business and Management Harvard Style

Please note the “instruction” in the attachments.

The terms management and leadership have been used in various ways: from being equivalent, to holding completely different meanings. Some may say that leadership does not require any managerial position to act as a leader, whilst others believe that a true manager is the one with leadership traits. In the light of your studies so far, and with the support of academic literature as well as your own professional, and personal, experience, discuss the following:

Question 1:
Key similarities and differences between leadership and management.
Question 2:
Briefly analyse the culture of the organisation you work for or have worked for previously; you can also select an organisation you know well, in particular:
2a) How far does the prevailing organisational culture affect the way the organisation interacts with its employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders?
2b) Can you identify any leadership principles that support organisational values in your chosen origination?

A good discussion should evidence excellent academic and practical application, a solid evaluation and critical analysis.
