Do you feel free? Under the current political climate of racial and gender disparity, the rise of white supremacy, climate crisis, and economic instability, is your freedom guaranteed? If your answer is no, then explain why not, citing personal history or current events happening in the United States. If the answer is yes, then explain how and why you feel free.
Utilize the key ideas from the Declaration of Independence to examine your own concept of freedom in your daily life. Use at least 2 direct quotations from the Declaration of Independence as well as specific examples from your own life to address the question.
Your introductory paragraph should include your thesis and examples on whether you feel free or not in the United States of America.
