Innate Lymphoid Cells (ILCs) are a more recently discovered set of immune cells that appear to bridge aspects of both innate and adaptive immunity.  Like innate cells, they respond quickly to infection but do not possess specific antigen receptors but do produce similar inflammatory cytokines as T cells.  ILCs comprise 3 basic types: ILC1, ILC2 and ILC3 although there are now indications that this group is larger.  However for the essay, I would like you to write a paragraph about the ILC1, ILC2 and ILC3 type of cells as to what cytokines they are stimulated by and what effector molecules they produce (for example, IL-4 for ILC2 cells) as well as their effect on host response (macrophage activation for ILC1 cells).  You may find information from a review article on PubMed or webpage search.  You should have minimally at least 3 paragraphs for the essay that is worth 5 points for the course.
