This essay is an analysis of a book. The paper does not need to be aided by secondary sources. The essay must address the experience of immigrants in the US and/or Americans of diverse ethnic backgrounds. With that in mind, develop a cogent thesis about any of the works discussed in class or any others (related to the topic under study). Since you should seek to persuade your
reader to agree with you, be certain that your thesis is defensible and interesting.
