human and animal-related topic

A proposal for your field research project on a human and animal-related topic. This proposal will include the reason you have selected this topic to research and write about, research questions which you hope to answer, and your background knowledge. Your research proposal must meet the following criteria to receive full
credit.
Context (15 points)
Identify the specific topic and why you are interested. What will you examine through your
research? What do you already know? What have you already read? What role will you adopt as
researcher?
Audience & Purpose (25 points)
Identify specifically who needs to know about this topic and why is it worth sharing with this
audience. What role do you see yourself taking as you help your reader understand? What
research questions do you hope to answer? Raising these questions will refine the purpose of
your research, as well as help you avoid merely summarizing your sources.

identify the sources you intend to pursue and explain how they will contribute to the analysis of
your topic of interest.

Address what is at stake if your topic goes unnoticed
