Gender

Pleas answer the question within the realm of International affairs. Thank you.

On a daily basis, people all over the world display many different kinds of gender-related biases. While some nation-states only allow women to take an extended leave of absence when they bring a child into this world, other practice an ideology where only the men have any legitimate say in the affairs of marriage. Other countries partake in harsh discrimination practices when it comes to one’s sexual orientations, and the majority single out military-aged men as a “non-vulnerable” group in times of necessary evacuation at war. Do you consider Gender, as it relates to the examples I have presented, to be “purely” socially constructed, or could you argue that the reason for these social constructs emerge from a biological reasoning? Pleas answer the question within the realm of International affairs.
