This assignment is intended to give you additional practice with understanding ethics while learning about new psychological research. In order to complete this assignment you need to do the following:

1.) Choose a famous research study you find particularly interesting that has displayed less than ethical conduct. Please choose a study that we have not used as any part of this course or you will not qualify for this extra credit.

2.)Please give a detailed explanation of what type of research was being conducted and at least one empirical source discussing the research study (in APA format). Please highlight the following in your explanation

What the study was and how it was conducted
What the ethical violations you saw in the study
Whether new laws have been implemented  since the study was conducted to deal with these violations
Any additional steps you would take to ensure that if this study were replicated today that these ethical violations would not happen again.
3.) This should be no less than about 2 pages but no more than 3 pages in length (double spaced).
