Utilizating your textbook, Social Psychology, 5th Edition by Gilovich, Keltner, Chen, and Nibett, review the Milgram shock study and the reasons that participants might have obeyed, write a brief paragraph or two trying to convince someone who is unfamiliar with psychology or who is learning about this study for the first time (a grandmother or grandfather) why these people who obeyed were not bad people and that in fact, many people (even you and me) might do the same thing today.
In the third paragraph, compare and contrast the Milgram shock study to how good people can be lured into looting even though its not in there nature as evidenced currently in protests against the killing of George Floyd.
