I. Powerpoint/slideshow assignment: Prepare an 8-12 slide summary presentation of
two of the optional articles. These are the articles available on the website for each
week that were not assigned for class discussion. You may select any two articles from
Weeks 0-5.
You may use any slide presentation software (PPT, Keynote, Google Slides, etc), and
can upload either in original format or save as a PDF. Please put your name on the
first (title) slide.
Your slideshow should cover the following for each article:
title, author, date of publication
the concise summary of the authors main argument(s)
a discussion of the articles main points and the evidence and examples that the
author uses to support their argument
any criticisms or questions youd like to raise
include one or two slides that explore how the articles might be dialogue with each
other (in terms of topic, approach, country, religion, etc), or might offer conflicting
perspectives.
