Describe a stereotype, myth or some aspect of "the Indian in mind" that is depicted in Green Grass, Running Water and tell me how Thomas King attempts to “undo” it; that is, how does he undermine the stereotype, myth, or image or present the stereotype, myth, or image as false or ridiculous. To do this thoroughly, you must articulate someting of the original context of the stereotype, myth, or imagine (for example, what are ideals or values usually expressed in that stereotype or myth) and then explain King’s alternative interpretation.
