Hello and thanks for considering my topic. For my assignment, I am tasked with writing a National History Day paper on the March on Washington and how it contributed to Communication during the Civil Rights era. The theme for NHD is Communication, and how it is key to understanding something. I was thinking about including speeches from Civil Rights leaders and drawing parallels to some present-day topics on what members of the black community are still fighting for. The big question is “How did the March on Washington communicate ideas that we use today?” Multiple primary and secondary sources are required.
