Instruction:
  I would like you to write a synopsis of the answers to the questions that the alumni provide and combine them into one, properly structured paper, single spaced. The paper should be no less than 500 words and no more than 750 words. Use sub-headings for each of the questions, as well as for an introduction, and a conclusion, in the introduction you introduce the event etc., and in the conclusion you summarize the discussion AND provide your own opinion about it. The latter is important, do not forget!  Under each of the question subheadings, do NOT list the answers, but rather synthesize them and present common themes or discuss interesting outliers

1.How do you view the importance of strategic planning in your industry, especially in these uncertain and highly dynamic times?

2.What happened to your companys strategic plan when the pandemic hit? Were you prepared for the event? Did you redraft a new plan? Did you plan for something like that at all?

3.Covid-19 is the “hot” strategic issue facing the industry at the moment. Can you give an actual example of how your company has addressed this issue strategically?  Was it successful?

4.What determines the strategic goals and direction of your company in general ? What factors, both internal and external to the organization, are taken into consideration when objectives are set?

5.What is the importance of strategic thinking in one’s personal career? Can you elaborate on      that, using some of the personal/professional choices you have made over the years? What      skills can you identify one needs to succeed long-term?

6.As the students in your audience are leaving Penn State in three-six months, what short-term and long-term advice would you give them?
