ALL materials must come from the PSC databases. The Biography in Context database is the most comprehensive and is quite easy to access and use.

Topically or Chronologically

TOPICALLY:

This arrangement requires you to establish categories relating to the authors life. Some might include

Religious affiliations
Awards/recognitions
Family life
Influences
Dysfunctions

CHRONOLOGICALLY:

This form of organization would require you to address the authors life from birth to death, or until our current period in history. Your categories might be structured including

Circumstances of birth
Region of birth
Climate of the region (This is not related to weather, but rather what was the political, economic, social setting?)
Early Years
Adolescence
Middle Years

Within each of these categories, you would need to include the items identified in the TOPICAL organizational pattern.
