        What is the purpose of noble lie?  Show a few examples of similar techniques existing
          in contemporary societies

3    List and discuss the accusations against Socrates and show how he defends himself. Was his
        trial just?  Was his trial legal? Why is Socrates presented today usually as a positive role
          model?

4.    What is the meaning of The Allegory of the Cave for us, today?  Use examples from politics
          education, pop culture, psychology, etc

5.    Discuss the main representatives of Stoicism and their major ideas. Their contribution to
political  philosophy?  Can you find any of their ideas in literature/movies?
