This is the first assignment leading to your final paper.  From the chapter readings and your research on nursing theorists and practice applications, develop a thesis statement that will ultimately serve as the introduction to your final paper.  This is an expository or explanatory paper, so the thesis statement will be several sentences to convey the information.  Information on how to write a thesis statement and outline are found here:  Link  (Links to an external site.)

Create a word document that has a Title Page per APA formatting, a thesis statement and an outline of your final paper.  It is helpful to review the rubric for the final paper when outlining the information that should be included.  Think of the outline components as statements that could be used as headers for your final paper.
