*Think of a goal that you (or someone else) set that you considered was unattainable. For example, people sometimes set goals such as losing 25 pounds before some important event that will happen in a month.
1. Once you have identified an unattainable goal, write down how you felt about that goal.
2. Discuss with your classmates whether you achieved the goal and, if you did achieve it, how long you maintained it.
3. If you didn’t achieve the goal, how did that affect your self-esteem?
