2. An example of how individuals signal their power through art and images today that comes to mind would be through Social media. For example, Instagram is a large platform for people to display their status and the images they make public shows what resources they have as opposed to people may not have anywhere as much. These resources could range from a lot of money, lavish clothes, land property, and high quality electronic devices. High ranking people would have portraits made for them which displays their high quality fabrics while wearing expensive jewelry such as a gold rings, earrings, crowns, necklaces among the list. Presidential portraits are also another example that signals primarily wealth and leadership.

As for how Social Media platforms have a correlation with the strategies used by Ancient Near Eastern or Egypt rulers, there is very little to none to go on frankly. Rulers and high rankings among the people would be wearing very exquisite clothing and jewelry. However, the way they display their power/status among their people would be through statues and other massive art work and that isn’t the most popular method today. People today definitely have a better edge over the Ancient Near East.

3. The country in which The Parthenon stands has no importance to me. However, I do believe that the one spot of land that it was built on is where it should stand and stay. In a way, it belongs to that small point of Earth, not Greece nor England, but the plot in which the creator intended. Therefore, it should stay as a whole on that spot and not as pieces in two different locations.

I completely disagree with the argument that The Parthenon being in multiple locations is a good thing. If you want to see someone, you do not take his upper half and communicate, you speak to the whole of the person. Otherwise, you will never truly experience what it is like to be with that person. Also, if it is so great to have 50 percent of The Parthenon in two locations, why not have 25 percent be in four locations or 10 percent in 10 locations? I suppose that would give so many more people the chance to see such a minuscule part of such a great piece of art.

4.Growing up IN SUNSET PARKbest experiences. . The cemetery itself has many wonderful historical arts and designs. For example, the main gate which was built amid civil war by Architect Richard Upjohn still holds its value to this day, the spectacular design of the old Greek church represents an ingenious linking together and piling up of architectural elements to create an impressive main gateway to the cemetery. Another great architecture piece would be the chapel which is located on the site of one of Green-Wood’s original ponds. Though it is generally designed in the late Gothic style, its massing is in the Beaux-Arts style. It is made of limestone, and consists of multiple towers, including a central octagonal tower and four octagonal turrets, one at each corner. The chapel contains three levels: ground level, clerestory level, and the second story in the central tower which can give you the view of the whole cemetery. The wonderful watchtowers on the main gate and the chapel central tower, I think symbolize the height and closeness to God. The cemetery symbolizes unity and most importantly it serves as a reminder to all that we shall all return one day.
