We look at the justice system, particularly in relation to race and the death penalty, through the eyes of Bryan Stevenson.  His memoir Just Mercy brings the humanity into full view as we receive the full stories of individuals who have experienced unfair treatment within our justice system.  For this assignment, read the first seven chapters of the book and write about a story within those chapters that you found thought-provoking and compelling.
