Throughout the course you should collect your favorite quotes from the readings. For the final you will choose 3 quotes from 3 different texts from class which speak to your emerging teaching philosophy.

Introductionwhere you will state what you will say in the essay and give context for the essay
Body paragraphs—each paragraph can have a different quote. Paragraphs should be long because this is where you are explaining your emerging teaching philosophy. You are using the quote as a lens for your emerging philosophy so you have to explain that. You can write a few paragraphs per quote or one really long one.
Conclusion—where you re-state what you said with an eye towards the future.
