The  write-up should  describe the variables: the agency which produces the data, the year of the data, and more specific definitions of the data (for example,  educational attainment is defined  as the  share  of persons age 25+ who have earned a Bachelor’s  degree  or higher). The write-up should  also comment on the  summary statistics. For example, do the minimum and maximum  values for the variables seem reasonable or extreme? Are the mean values of the variables  large  relative to the standard deviations? The write-up might also comment on the region of  the country where the 60 to 80 metropolitan areas are located.
