(Peer review) Evaluation of an ideal organization proposal

Requirements:  To maximize the learning potential, you will have the opportunity to evaluate one ideal organization. This assignment will enable you to look at the projects from the point of view of an advisor to senior management that is objectively reviewing an ideal organization.

The easiest approach for the written evaluation of your assigned Ideal Organization is to consider the context of the assignment and evaluate how the team articulated the core dimensions of SHRM and organizational analysis.  As you read their submission, consider the alignment of the various dimensions of their organization.

Please remember your goal is not to mark the assignment (as a teacher) but to evaluate it as a business concept.  This capacity to evaluate business concepts in the form of a proposal is a critical skill you will need when you graduate.

You received an email on Friday, March 27 with your assigned Ideal Organization paper.  (I used the RANDBETWEEN function in MS Excel so the matching is completely random.)

Please limit your written evaluation and questions to a maximum of one page (single-spaced).

Remember your submission needs to include two meaningful questions that you would like to ask the presenting team.  (Without our face-to-face class, you cannot directly ask but if you had the opportunity what would you have sought clarification on?)  Deeper, more meaningful questions are better than superficial, surface level questions.

Lastly, the Advisor to the CEO role is a key learning goal so the quality of your evaluation and the questions you ask will determine your mark.  Ensure that you closely read the ideal organization proposal assigned to you and draw out key points.
