Motivation in Teams

Discuss how you feel the motivation of team members contributes to project success.  How do you feel that Organizational Culture assisted or hindered the team performance.

For your initial discussion submission you may want to consider the various models of motivation, and discuss which you feel are more useful, and why.  Do all motivational models apply to all work ?  Are some more applicable to particular situations?

Organizational culture is also a key element that influences almost everything that happens within an organization, and it is also one of the most difficult elements to understand, and to change.  You may wish to contribute with an example of how culture affected team-based work for you in the past, together with some suggestion of how you might have dealt with this differently in hindsight.
