best practices

As managers and leaders, it will be critical to motivate your staff, hire quality employees, and lead them to success.  This post will reflect upon best and worst practices.

Submissions will be based on positions you have held.  If you have no work experience, you may use a scenario shared by one of your friends or family members.

Post a position you have held and what your manager did that created a great work environment and/or motivated you.  You may elect to leave out the name of the company; however, the position should be included.

Be sure to include examples to support your message.  The goal is to provide a series of “best” and “worst” practices of managers.  Whether you’ve held a supervisory position or not, this is an opportunity to identify tactics to inspire your staff.  A happy employee is more likely to lead to a happy guest than a disgruntle employee.
