Research on how the coronvairus and its panic, is and will affect the economy. I would like to outline a historical examination of previous epidemics and how stock markets, and other aspects of the economy reacted and when and how they recovered. Perhaps, in the end, offer predictions built from a historical perspective.

This paper should put forth an original argument on a specific, narrow topic. You do not necessarily need to write something thats never been thought of before. Instead, you should consider what priorities your field should focus on and explain why the field should move the conversation in that direction. That is, your thesis statement should be your own idea and go beyond affirming or denying the results or conclusions of another argument.
Research papers engage with a critical community and contribute to an ongoing discussion. Within these papers, you acknowledge the work of other researchers and combine relevant information to say something of value, a new way of looking at a problem, etc. This assignment is intended for you to show your expertise within your field and specific topic. This project asks you to work with a variety of rhetorical skills: analysis, research, and genre awareness.
The Research Paper builds off of and, in many ways, continues the work of the Annotated Bibliography. While your bibliography outlined the main points of your argument, your paper will be a space to develop those ideas fully and create a formal argument. In this argument, you should pull from your specialized knowledge of business to think critically about an important issue.
