Research and write an essay on a Supreme Court case that involved either the Establishment Clause or the Free Exercise Clause. Include the following points in your essay:

The events that led up to the court case and the reason the case was filed.
The Court’s decision and the reasoning behind it.
Whether or not the decision protects religious civil liberties and/or supports religious disestablishment. (Explain your reasoning.)
How the outcome of the case affects you or people you know. (Consider your family, workplace, school, politics, and your own religion or lack thereof.)
Your essay should be at least 600 words long. You must use at least three resources, one of which must be the online lesson. Do additional research as necessary. Include in-text citations and a reference list in APA format.
