Instructions to Students:
Please ensure that you read the assignment task and criteria carefully for Progress Meetings One and Two
In order to achieve a pass in this assignment, you will need to come to the meetings fully prepared
Please arrive five minutes before your scheduled meeting time
Each Progress Summary (including the reference list) will be collected at the end of Meeting One and Two
For Progress Meeting Two, the draft of the interview schedule/questionnaire will be collected at the end of the meeting
This assignment tests the following Learning Outcomes for the module:
Reflect and evaluate on your learning with reference to academic and career development
The Assignment Task:
Progress Meeting 1 Planning for your Project Proposal (50%)

? Identified a suitable subject area (eg Marketing, Sociology, Sport Management, Coaching etc) for a project proposal/business plan?
? Using relevant literature, identified and defined at least two relevant concepts that will be applied in your proposed project
? Provided the research question of the proposed project
? Provided two to three objectives of the proposed project
? Provided a reference list showing at least five sources of relevant literature that you have used as part of your reading for your project. The list should include academic books, journal articles and other relevant sources. Please note: during the meeting, to prove that you have read aspects of the relevant literature identified on your reference list, you will be asked questions about your reading. You may bring copies of articles/chapters with you to discuss this. You should be able to explain how the reading links to the aims and objectives of the project.
? Provided a written reflective summary that reveals your learning experiences while engaging with the project both academically and professionally (two A4 pages).
